Other Work

Small domestic light studies, home experiments, prototypes, and one-off objects.

Other Work brings together smaller light-based pieces made for the home. These works are not formal exhibitions, but they are an important part of the practice: places to test materials, behavior, interaction, color, reflection, and atmosphere at an intimate scale.

Some of these pieces begin as practical objects or experiments for my own living space. Over time they become studies of how light changes a room, how people respond to it, and how a simple technical idea can become a visual or emotional experience.

Light Fall domestic LED light work
Domestic light study / LEDs / Computer-controlled timing

Light Fall

Light Fall is a computer-controlled domestic light work made with steady LEDs that turn on at sunset and off at sunrise.

The lights do not blink or chase. The piece uses stillness, repetition, and a simple vertical arrangement to create a quiet field of light in the home.

Quiet Disco Party domestic light work with mirrored disco ball
Domestic light object / LED unit / Spinning mirrored ball

Quiet Disco Party

Quiet Disco Party is a modified IKEA LED unit with a spinning mirrored disco ball.

The piece transforms a simple home object into a small moving light environment, scattering reflections through the room while remaining quiet, domestic, and intimate.
